I happened to check a new (to me) podcast that I had seen a clip of on my Instagram feed the other day. It caught my attention because Ruslan (Christian Hip-hop artist & YouTuber) and Lila Rose (Founder of LiveAction) were on the show debating with several people who are involved in making porn content. They were talking about its negative effects on society. Lila and Russian were there making a case for the Biblical design of sexuality within marriage.

If we were honest, most of us have two different scales we use to measure sin. There’s the one we use with our sins and the one we use with others. If we aren’t careful, the tendency is to make the sins of others out to be more disgusting than our sins. Others have to live under a microscope of judgment while we need…grace. This should not be so.
Transgendered: is there room in the church for them?
The flood waters are rising and we are seeing surging levels of desolation and desperation. No amount of public parading or community affirmation can soothe the wounds or remove the sexual shame that has been heaped onto a young generation.
That being said, I’m concerned that the people of God won’t know what to do when the Good Shepherd brings these lost sheep into the fold. Will we have room in our services, in our homes, and in our hearts?
Falling On Deaf Ears. The Danger Of God Becoming Background Noise
Jesus' perception and answer is the only one that matters. Jesus says to us, just as he did to the church of Thyatira, “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.’This means allowing His words to pierce through the noise and grip our hearts. When we really do this, conquering power works in us and begins to work through us. When we overcome the persuasive seduction of the enemy working in this fallen world, we can help liberate others through the victory and good news of Jesus. This is what gospel-centred sexuality is all about.
Is masturbation sin?...or a gift from God?
To get clarity on this topic, we need to look past the act of masturbation and ask a deeper question: What is the purpose of sex? Not according to our dorm bros or our co-workers, but what does God’s Word say? To do this, we have to go back to the beginning in the Garden of Eden.

Marriage Material
If you are single, wanting to get married, and trying to hold out for someone who shares your faith and values, you get an honourable mention in my mind. I know you’re facing pressure and potentially fear. My hope is that I can encourage you in the waiting, in holding to your convictions, and in trusting God with your desires for the future.
Abortion and the war within a mother
I personally agree that legislation should exist to protect every human life, from the youngest to the oldest. But this is not an issue that exists in the vacuum of “women’s health care.” This is a matter of the heart.
If Good Men Do Nothing
You won’t make a difference because you think you have arrived at some level of perfection or because you think you know all the answers, but simply because you care and because you are willing to offer your strength for the good of those around you. That’s something, isn’t it?
And something is certainly better than nothing.

Finding Your Way in a Sexually Confused Culture
There is no question that the landscape of our culture when it comes to sexuality and identity is disorienting and confusing. Who would’ve thought it would be offensive to ask, “What is a woman?” Or that an idea such as “men can have periods” would be celebrated as “brilliant progressive thought”? How can the church respond? How can we regain confidence when so many foundations are being questioned?
